About This Spot

Stepping into Pho BC on a lively corner in Lexington feels like finding a shared secret of warmth and comfort tucked away from the everyday rush. The restaurant hums with quiet energy—the gentle clatter of chopsticks, the occasional burst of laughter from a group of friends, and the inviting aroma of simmering spices that promises a moment of genuine escape. It’s the kind of place where the pace slows naturally, encouraging you to savor both the company and the food before you.

The setting strikes a balance between thoughtful simplicity and understated charm. Soft lighting and clean lines create a welcoming backdrop that feels fresh yet familiar, making it easy to settle in whether you’ve come solo or with a crowd. This is a space where conversations flow easily and the vibe is never rushed, even when the steady stream of guests brings a quiet buzz to the room.

At Pho BC, the experience unfolds through the layers of its menu and the care evident in every bowl and plate. Pho here is more than just a dish; it’s a warm embrace in a bowl, where deeply flavored broths are crafted with patience and attention. Beyond the iconic pho, there’s a thoughtful range of offerings that invite discovery—from delicate steamed rice rolls to crispy Vietnamese pancakes that carry a satisfying crunch with every bite. The house special noodles and fresh spring rolls add layers of texture and flavor, each element revealing itself with subtle intricacy.

Beverages add their own kind of joy—whether it’s the richness of a traditional Vietnamese iced coffee or the playful pop of bubble tea with its sweet, tender tapioca pearls. These drinks feel like small celebrations on their own, complementing the food without overwhelming it.

What truly makes Pho BC stand apart, however, is the genuine atmosphere curated by its team and guests alike. Familiar faces return time and again, drawn not just by the food but by the sense of belonging that quietly shapes the space. The kind of place that, after a few visits, feels less like a restaurant and more like a comforting neighborhood refuge—a spot where good food and good company naturally meet.

Ordered the P11 (beef broth) and it was delicious! Also had an order of pork egg rolls that came out hot and crispy. Best Pho place in town!

I've been coming here for a few years and was there before their big renovation. It's my go to spot for pho and spring rolls. I've never been disappointed and everyone I've introduced this place to says it's their favorite pho spot in Lexington! When I moved to Texas and came back, this was the first place I had to visit!!

We had steaks and seafoods the entire week, so decided to have some pho! Everything else was great, the services, the broth on pho and the Vietnamese crepe with pork and shrimp! But minus one star for the calculation on the tip on their bill, I hope they would correct that, as the tip should be based on the total of the bill excluding the taxes and not including the taxes. So just from my opinion, just be on the look out for that.

I added photos of different Pho's I have ordered across the year earlier. This man is a true treat to the soul. His cooking, especially his broths, just hit from your ears to your toes. The Shrimp Spring rolls are always a go to as well. Crisp and clean with that sweet peanut sauce that has a little slice kick? Chef's kiss. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Kentucky by far. Don't get me started on the Bánh Mì's. It's such a good sandwich!

10/25/25 My husband and I, along with four friends, came here for dinner and had such a great experience. We ordered the spicy beef pho with thick noodles to share, as well as the Vietnamese special pancake with pork and shrimp, both were so, so good! Everything came out piping hot and freshly made, best food to have with the cold weather. Because of our group size, there was a 20% charge for a large party, which caught us a little by surprise, but the staff kindly let us know it would count toward the tip. We all thought large groups were 8+ but it’s ok. Just first time experiencing it with 6 people. Service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. I love the ambiance here, so pretty, especially their decor. Overall, a delicious and satisfying dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning again in the future! 11/30/24 My husband and I came here to enjoy some delicious pho. We ordered the xl bowl and a banh mi sandwich. We ordered the spicy beef combination pho and split it as the bowl was huge. So big, we had lunch with our leftovers the next day. Make sure you order a side of their hot chili oil, they make it in house and it is very delicious. The service was excellent and the food came out fast. The restaurant as always was very clean and busy with customers, which is always a great sign. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants.

Loved everything we tried here...the peanut sauce had a bit of a bitter aftertaste but the roll itself was super fresh! The combo rice was flavorful and the pork and wonton pho tasted like warmth in a bowl!!!!
